TASPers, countrymen, and lovers,
Lend me your ears! Hello!
I sit here, just forty minutes before the polls close in my time zone, thinking of you all, thinking of Tennessee, praying that eleven Volunteer State electoral votes won't be enough to keep W in the white house. Let's face it, folks: tennesseeans tend to vote their dogma.
But enough of that. My school play opens thursday. We will be performing Arsenic and Old Lace. I will be playing a mad scientist. Bwa hah. I guess sometimes I forget my lust for theater, but all it takes is a dress rehearsal to remind me why I do this. Olga and others, I'm sure you understand.
The school blood drive is also thursday, and i'll be rolling up my sleeve at about 11:30. Wish me luck. I'm really not looking to passing out.
I've finished at least one college app: my early action to UChicago is safe and sound in the admissions office.
I suppose all is well on the whole. No school today. Nothing is so beautiful as sleeping until you wake up on your own. I still think of you all whenever i hear glycerine, whenever there's a nice sky, whenever something important happens.
Btw, let's schedule a rolling stone shirt day. We'll gather no moss simultaneously all over the country.
Well, peace all of you. Keep working, stay beautiful, make tasper-centric college plans.
And someone teach our president not to say "nook-yoo-lur". It's just embarassing.
love,
josh
