Unexpected Fan
I just found out a couple days ago that my dad sometimes reads this site. He says it is comforting, and, at times, inspirational. There,...I have now met my disclosure obligations to you all.

That was, indeed, my grandpa, although the list started with math. The first scientist that I know of in my family was my great grandpa Michael Foti, who was the first doctor/scientist to use X-rays for medical applications in Hungary. For the first two years of my life (until my sister was born and uncle got married) I was the only one on my dad's side of the family without a Ph.D. in Chemistry.
On another note, we have yet to recieve a lasting snowfall in MN. It sickens me that the grass is still green. On the flip side, last night the temperature dropped close to zero, so we still get the biting winds and the vicious cold.
