The Barany Report
Does anyone know if you can post pictures on this blog? I'm thinking of starting up another round of Rorschach (sp) moment.
Made it out of Cleveland in one piece, though the Twins took a real beating. I kept on repeating to myself "...gee, I haven't seen them play this bad since their last two playoff series...hey...wait a minute...where were the Indians during the last two Octobers?" That kept my spirits up. Were still on top of the AL Central, but not by much. Never should have traded Mientkiewicz or Pierzynski. With home-grown catcher Joe Maur down and the rest of the lineup failing to produce, the only thing those transactions did was make the roster easier to spell.
Enough of baseball,... I'm in suburban Chicago-area right now and have found that its much more difficult to discuss Foucault outside of the House. I got one nod of acknowledgement about Freaks, but that's as close to a conversation I've come.

We're roadtripping back to MN. Today is the final day. I called Paul when we were a day in front of Pitt, but he wasn't back by then. I have too many relatives in Chicago to get away. If anyone lives in Wisconsin, I could stop by later today.
