Guess what I just discovered

Two mice have been killed by traps in my suite over the past three days. Apparently, they escaped from a vermin-infested couch from a room on the floor above ours, and have been wreaking havoc for about a week and a half. (In other words - not my suite's fault.) That should be the end of that...I hope.

I have a picture if anyone wants a looksee.

No?...Didn't think so.

Anyone else have a dorm room besieged by vermin? We can share war stories...

AN UPDATE (10/26, 11PM): There is definitely a third mouse, and it's loose in the suite RIGHT NOW.

FINAL UPDATE: (10/28): The third mouse was exterminated a couple of hours before sunrise, and not by a trap; it was chased around the common room for about two hours, took refuge in the couch, and was finally crushed by some heavy furniture. Requiescat in pace, Mickey, Minnie and Frank.

ANOTHER UPDATE: It looks like I spoke too soon. No one probably scrolls this far down to read old blog posts, but for the record, mouse number four was found on Monday the 31st. Since then, pest control has been in and out of my room repeatedly, and we've had a proposal to use the cats of our assistant dean for mouse-catching purposes. La vie est folle.

Perhaps you ought to use your Mafia connections to finish them off...

I mean, Dues knows the Angry Mob will never be cohesive enough to do it.

Jordan, that is hilarious. Is that what Yale's football players are like?

=)

(And Hannah, who is Dues?)

Yeah, you west coasters just have "uninvited guests", often of entymological significance. The juice machine, of course, is fruit fly paradise.
